Two licenses on one AC call.

A lot of ‘AC problems’ are really electrical problems — a failed capacitor, a burned contactor, a bad disconnect or a tripped circuit. Most HVAC companies can swap the part; fewer are licensed to fix the wiring behind it.

Thomas General Contractor holds both an air conditioning and refrigeration license (ROC #368807, CR-39 Specialty Dual) and an electrical license (ROC #344450). Whichever side of the system the problem is on, the same contractor can find it and fix it.

Questions

Heating & Cooling FAQ

Are you licensed for HVAC work?

Yes — Arizona ROC #368807, CR-39 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Specialty Dual.

My AC keeps tripping the breaker — is it the AC or the electrical?

It can be either: a failing compressor or capacitor, or a problem with the breaker or wiring. We’re licensed for both, so we can test both.

Do you install mini-splits?

Yes — including the dedicated circuit and disconnect they need.

Are you licensed?

Yes — Thomas General Contractor holds three active Arizona ROC licenses: #344450 Electrical (CR-11), #367310 General Dual Building (KB-1) and #368807 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (CR-39). All are Dual (residential and commercial), with zero complaints on record — and the company is licensed, bonded and insured. Look them up on the ROC contractor search.
